Elaisha Stokes is a filmmaker and journalist based in New York. Her clients include the New York Times, National Geographic, VICE, CBS, Al Jazeera and CNN. Her short films have aired at international film festivals, including BFI London, Maryland, Brooklyn, and London Short. Elaisha was a 2017 Sundance New Voices Fellow and has participated twice in the Cine Qua Non Screenwriting Labs. Her work has been recognized by the International Reporting Project, the DuPont Awards, and the Emmy Foundation. Elaisha teaches documentary journalism and reporting at New York University.
